so,here is an update....
sent phone to samsung and they fixed and have shipped it back....it hasnt made it to me yet but will soon....here is what they said was wrong with it....BAD BGA COMPONENT

Solution:
REPLACED PBA - PASSED ALL FUNCTIONAL TESTING

what does this mean?

WILL NOT CHARGE - BAD BGA COMPONENT

Solution:
REPLACED COMPONENT - S/W UPDATED - REPLACED PBA - PASSED ALL FUNCTIONAL TESTING

ya mine went right near the end of jan. Thought it might be a result of messing with the nv partition but I had done that weeks before.

update: well i have rerooted and put cwm on my phone again....thanks to shabby for the ocr and thanks to h13 for cwm.....

Now should i just install one of my backups from my sd card or should i start from scratch when it comes to tweeking my phone???? suggestions pls????

Well my prevail came back in. I need to find my stock 2g sd card for it then I will start using it for testing
Damn those little sd cards can be a pain to find. lol
