Help hmm... need help with groups...

I synced facebook to my contacts... I want to add some of them to certain groups but when I go to do it none of my contacts are there? What gives?

You are using facebook for htc right?
It will link up with contacts already in your contacts list. For those that aren't while in people press the internet icon at bottom. Youtmr other facebook contacts should be there but it will not allow you any. Customization.


If I remember correctly dloadin facebook for android and syncing that via accounts and sync adds them all to the people list and you can edit them etc. Trying to test that method now but having sync issues

Maybe I'm describing my issue incorrectly... I can see all my facebook friends in my contact list... I can't however, add them into groups? When I go into groups, it seems as though I can only select contacts stored on my phone?

That may be the case. Where do you see the facebook contacts?

I'm using the stock contacts app "people" I can toggle my facebook contacts on and off but I can't add them into a group?

do they show up with all of the people or do you have to click on the internet tab at the bottom and select facebook...

I am going to keep trying to get mine to work

If I load up people. the first tab, "all", I can choose wether or not to see my facebook friends by pressing menu, view, and checking facebook. But even then I cannot add them into my groups.

restoring my phone now. had a terrible nandroid mishap.

I am going to keep playing with it over the next day or so.

out of curiosity, do you use folder organizer at all?

here ya go...

go to people,
make sure your facebook contacts are showing up (menu, view, facebook is checked)
now press groups
select the group you want to add to (not you can add groups too press menu)
menu
add group menu
find the person you want to add. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY i have found that includes facebook contacts!
