Great game last night!

I'm glad Chicago didn't win! I was a little nervous there for a bit .... But all is well that ends well:D

ocnbrze,
have a question for you: what do you think of Bad Holloway? AFAIK, you need a left winger in your 2nd line. He will be pretty cheap. Plays well in Sweden (seen him a couple of times).

yeah he looks good. we do have the rights to him so i'm hoping we could sign him. i have not really seen him. but it seems like everywhere he has gone he has done really well.

here is a small article on him:
L.A.-bound Holloway?

i do hope we sign him. like you said we do need more depth at left wing.
Yeah, but if I'm not mistaken, he had some troubles with Lombardi when leaving for Sweden (though he'd be a fool not to return back to the NHL if offered a contract, imo)

i'm also super happy we sign voynov to a 6yr contract as well:D
Agree, great work by LA management - decent money, not one of those 100-years-stupid-contracts.

to be honest i can't remember what the beef was with management back then. it is funny how we still have the rights to him though. i really hope we sign him.

yeah that was one reason why i sided with the players during the lockout. those contracts were ridiculous and then the owners had the audacity to complain how the players were getting too much money, when they are the ones making the deals.

anyways, this years stanley cup finals......i must say has been very entertaining. both teams seems to be evenly matched even though hossa has been out the last couple of games for the hawks. if hossa misses the rest of the games then i give the edge to boston.

BOSTON STRONG!!!!!

well we shall see who is crying after the bruins win the cup!!!!!!!!!

on a side note:
i am very glad to hear that there is a huge market right now for jonathan bernier. there is like 12 teams making offers right now. and i hear that some are higher than market value.....it is going to be a sweet offseason me thinks for the LA Kings.

I almost buried Hawkes after the 3rd match - they were hopeless to me, but still Kenneville managed to pull the team together. Good decision (imo) to unite Kane with Toews (esp. for Kane). Now I think there will be a seventh match

It also helps when Hossa is back in the line up.

It would help even more if Crawford would learn to get his glove up quicker. The Bruins are hitting his glove side like crazy now.

With the exception of game three, this has been a really exciting series so far with game four being the best.

well the hawks got lucky winning game 5 without toews in the lineup toward the end of the game. if he can't come back i think the bruins will tie it up and win it in chicago!!!!!

of course the bruins are missing bergeron as well. hopefully he can comeback.....but i think that toews has more of an impact then bergeron.

thank god that this season is over with finally. my hats goes of to the hawks. they had an amazing year this year. after the prior season, who would have thought that they would be such a force throughout the season and the playoffs?

now i know i said my thank you's earlier to my La Kings, but i just want to say thank you again:

now that we will have a full training camp and a full season where games will not be bunched up like that, i think we will have another great opportunity to win the cup again next year.....following the pattern on how the hawks did it.

and i'm super happy that we got a decent trade for jonathan bernier which was for matt frattin(forward) and ben scrivens(backup goalie) plus we get cap relief ($445K). i do not know too much about frattin, but i trust dean lombardi(gm). he really wanted him for a few years now. he is young and talented so we shall how he competes in training camp coming up soon.

curious if any of you guys follow your team in the off season? have there been any trades for your team?

thoughts on coaches?
