Adw launcher was very speedy. Then my phone got real laggy. That's why I'm sticking with the LG home for now :-)
 
I use the stock launcher. In my opinion, and I have 5 or 6 different launchers all paid versions and free, the stock is just as good. I use to be a die hard ADW EX user, but honestly I dont like it on this phone at all. Nor Launcher Pro+ or Go.

Havent tried my ICS+ launcher on it yet tho, but as of now I prefer and believe the stock is just as stable and fast ADW and LP.

I agree man. I was the same with adw ex. Never a fan of go launcher. But I must say I do like the stock launcher on this phone.
 
Same with ADW EX. Its just dont look right or feel right to me. And Ive installed it 3 or 4 times and 10 minutes later went "Naaaaaa delete" Ahaha

It's all personal taste. With ADW Ex I can make my phone look like anything I want. I personally think the stock LG launcher is ugly as f*ck.

I agree. I set ADW up to how I like it. When it was first installed it was horrible but once I customized it, its much better

power control widget is extended controls, its a paid app.

also u should get the minimal bread launcher pro widgets skin.
They look really nice.

thanks dude. i have my esteem coming in the mail in a few days, i'm going to add these when it gets here ^_^
 
from the time that i had my ascend. i really find it hard to select the appropriated launcher for my esteem...
 
Here's my current home screen set up. I'm using Launcher Pro with a custom dock background. It's kind of a mash-up of the ICS dock and the default LG dock. Clock is the Beautiful Widgets Super Clock with ICS skin.
