I'm lucky to have 25% battery left after 8.5 hrs... and that's with it just sitting on the desk as a paper weight - no talk, text, GPS, BT, 4G, wifi, or even a LWP. lol
(I keep all no-essentials frozen until needed)

Just installed it on the LD ICS ROM, it went to the LG screen, and re booted from there about 3 times, before it actually went through. I go to setCPU, and the max can only go up to 528MHz. Why? :/

It goes to 1024. Running that as the default max setting now. Maybe clear data in setcpu and try again? I think mine was reading lower when I first opened setcpu but I just moved the slider to 1024 and then set my profiles.
 
I went from 92 (didn't get a full charge..) Slacker radio.. Yahoo'n.. Heavy use.. 18 percent lefT after almost nine hours.. Still running 2x battery but seems to save a lot.. All I've changed was went homeless lol
 
How do I know if its even flashed I tried twice and kernal look the same I'm using the new rom ics/gse hybrid

Just download on your computer and move to your sd card. As I commented earlier, it took me three downloads to get it right. It might have been mediafire; but there is a link to 4shared now, I would try it.

As a side note... The past couple times I downloaded and installed from my phone, it didn't work. That is why I recommend downloading on a computer. Some may think otherwise, but better safe than sorry. ;)
 
Your battery stinks so everyone else's battery stinks too, no one can have a better batt than you right? Please... I fell asleep last night so I didnt get a screenshot but Ill post one today.

bTW: Heres a screenie from gingersteem extreme with plague kernel.

I am 18hrs texting web streaming and games my phones runs good ics theme mod rom its great LG optimizer works wonders thank y'all very much
 
Well I just completed the my first day, I used it a bit more in a restaurant, Google goggles, web browsing etc and it ended up being 18hours on my 1500mAh battery. As far as roms, just try and let me know if it works correctly by posting back here. I think they all work. I just happen to be using GingerSteem1.0 + homeless + lg esteem optimizer as my test platform

No, no. I don't personally mean that our battery sucks , sarcastic enough we though that would be really impressed yet also hard to believe a stock battery with 4g heavy use on it as you stated. That's all.

I mean I even have screen shots with my phone lasting 2days and still having 26% ( I think ) but that is with wise usage, just texts, few calls , little use of 4G and surfing . Of course that's the extended battery
 
I lasted 30.5 hours from 100%-1% from Monday night a 6P to this morning at ~12:30A. OEM Extended battery and that was okay usage but not ridiculous. Will post a ScreenShot with ScreenCast next time I am about to charge.

The rom probably changed your phone make and model in Build.prop. Maybe they wanted to put a different name in there just because. Unless they have a legitimate reason for doing this I'd request it to be changed back. You can edit the values yourself too.

For the Optimizer, is there any chance we can get an option to mute the sound? I hate having to mute my phone before I adjust settings at work. Great stuff, keep it up! Thanks!
