Homescreen problem!

[tomfromabove]

Black text box appears over the 3 hotkeys at the bottom of the screen and can't be moved or removed, any ideas on how I can get rid of it?

Have you tried a hard reset ?.

I'll give that a go now. could it possibly have been pasted there accidentally?

just restart your phone, andy d by hard reset you mean removing the battery?
