Help Hopfully a easy fix problem

iv only recently got this phone, its been great but iv got i small problem..after uninstalling some apps they appear to be stuck on main screen as android boxes with no name and if i try to delete these boxes i get

"The application Android Home(Process com.android launcher2)has stoped unexpectedly.Please try again"

now this only seems to happen if i try to uninstall apps when it comes up with the message "phone memory running low" and i click the message and it takes me straight to app manger..if i myself go to optons,settings,apps, manage apps myself it seems to be ok...

BUT as much as i love android i would like to get rid of 5 blank boxs..any help would be greatly appreciated

I would try going to the market, go to my apps and if the apps are in the list open one, if it has the option uninstall from there.

If they are not there try reinstalling through the market, then uninstall them again through the market.
