How bad is the Ram problem?

I ordered a boost Mobile lg volt but reading about the low memory crashes is making me think about canceling my order. What do you think are you wishing you hadn't purchased this phone? Should I go for the HTC desire 816 instead on virgin mobile?

the phone wopuld not multi task. After i did the download mode and flashed the stock lg rom with out all of the carrier specific bloat it does. I have absolutely zero issue with this phone. Other than no recovery and cm11 yet lol.

Oh okay I plan on rooting the phone so maybe I'll keep it. I do like to game though have you tried any games like asphalt 8 or modern combat?

I won't lie, more RAM would be nice, but it's no deal breaker by any means. Rooting and clearing out bloat and unneeded apps and it's fine.
Hibernating apps with something like Greenify helps too.

I normally play games like angry birds on mobile devices. Maybe even puzzle type games like the room if I got time to kill.

But other then that I play my games on my PC. I really do like the lg volt don't get me wrong.

The phone as is, does have some weird ram issues I think. I've yet to flash the debloated stock rom, but I've heard people have had improvements since.

But I'm honestly gonna wait till we have a proper recovery *Fingers crossed*.

Its funny, i am running the stock LG ROM not the one i got from boost and i use greenify daily and i haven't had any RAM issues yet or random crashes or reboots.. I uninstalled any apps i don't use and froze any system apps i will never need. Many of my system apps are greenified too so they don't launch unless i do it myself.

Where can I get information on getting the stock lg ROM? Thanks.

he meant that he didnt do anything to the stock rom.
hes using the phone out of the box so to speak.

and i did the same thing.
my phone has ram booster installed.
and i deleted or disabled apps i do not need.
i dont have any ram issues and it lasts me 3 days.
on the third day. i let my family use it till it dies. (usually 20%) on games n such.
and then charge it fully (keeping it off, itll take 3 hours.)
