Help How can I control Google Contacts??

Is there a way to have Google contacts NOT import all junk information as contacts? I notice that in my contacts I have Google entries for emails I have responded to or people that have sent me email in response to Craigslist Ad's..or Customer services emails...... etc. Just because you respond to something doesn't meant you want it in your contacts.

Is there a way to filter this or stop it?

Inside the Contacts app, go to Menu > Display options > Your google account. There you can uncheck any categories of contacts you don't want to show up. To edit what groups a contact belongs to, I would suggest using a computer, hopping on Gmail, and going over to Contacts and going from there.
