Help How can I save email attachments

I just got my samsung prevail phone. i could not save pictures from email attachments either. I forwarded my email to my gmail and it let me download the picture and save it to my contacts.

If you are talking about a PDF from email.

After hitting "download" while in email.

go to "Quick Office", in your Widgets.

click "PDF"

Click "Internal Storage"

Click "Download"

hope that helps, just figured out how to do it

Download a file manager and you will be able to track and get everything you do on the phone. pdf's,pics, contacts, task killer, app management etc.... I use astro which is awsome for me and it is free from the market.\

Hello All,

I've read all of these posts and I am astounded at this simple functionality that has been missing for months. I find it unacceptable to have to go to the web based email when the phone is equipped with the client.

This is such a rudimentary capability to save an attachment and with postings for that past 6-7 months and no answer this is quite unbelievable.

I've found now 2 considerable shortfalls in this phone, first the ability to download a simple attachment, and second, you can't even send a decent size attachment. I had a Samsung smart phone and I could download and send an attachment 10-13MB in size.

I love this phone but I don't like losing capability when I've gone to such a high end phone. I was really expecting file sizes to be a non-issue with this phone.

Are there any developers reading this forum? This stuff has got to be fixed.

thus the reason i like microsoft. as soon as they fix the stupidity of their current UI and add copy paste, i want to go back. you can do most anything on a windows phone. might not be as pretty as the iphone and android, but oscapabilitity wise, it is far superior. wp7 runs twice as fast as any other phone with half the cpu speed. too bad they had their heads up dark places designing the os and whoever decided not to include copy paste needs to be fired on public television. that action alone cost them millions in sales.

btw. 3 years now this issue has not been fixed. in fact it seems to have gone backward as my current version does not have any option for jpeg files even from gmail.
