How can I troubleshoot or get diagram

I replaced my broken screen/digitizer. After patting myself on the back, I found that the power button doesn't work, although the screen itself seems to work. But I can't figure out what part I must have broken? I don't mind doing the repairs myself but cant find anything on the internet to help me figure out what the problem is. Can anyone provide any info to help figure this out? Thanks

There are some very very good videos on youtube that go through the breakdown and rebuild.

When doing ours more than a couple of times I did not properly "clip" the top bracket back into place and the power button was not making proper contact.

I have also broken that piece so use extreme caution. the sides are extremely thin and flimsy.
