How change Bookmarks to list view, not thumbnails ?

Had it done before, but, somehow, phone lost the setting. I want to see my bookmarks as a list, so that I can see more of them at a time, rather than the too big thumbnail view.

Thanks

Wrong, if by "bookmarks" you mean to begin at the home page titled "Bookmarks", then select menu, then select list--there is not a "list" selection.

Thanks anyway.

Actually he was mostly right. The button switches between Grid, Thumbnails, and List depending on which one is being displayed and the next choice.

No.
Bookmarks, then Menu provides the following selections:
All apps
Scenes
Add to Home
Wallpaper
Notifications
Settings

No sign of Grid, Thumbnails, or List.

Read the posting regarding "Bookmarks". Is that what you are talking about by Bookmarks ?

If your talking about the bookmarks widget. Delete the one that is on your screen, Long press on the screen, select widget, find the Bookmarks widget made by htc, select it then swipe left or right to pick the one you want before you press select. Your Welcome!

Well, I have found out how to get the bookmarks to appear as a list, and not as the larger icons, and the method has nothing to do with selecting "Grid, Thumbnails, or List". I will make an independent posting on this.

Well, this is how I get mine to do it:

Internet --> Menu --> Bookmarks --> Menu

There are 4 boxes: Sort by, Edit, Delete, and depends on what you already had on, the upper right hand box will either show Grid, Thumbnails or List.

Not mine. Of course, I am assuming that everyone understands that we are talking about the same phone and system listed in my signature.

No we were talking about the internet browser and you were talking about the widget. The problem was we assumed you were talking about the browser.

Congrats on figuring out how to delete and add widgets!

So, you say there is a "browser", other than the Globe icon labeled "internet" ? Where it?

That is the browser but there are different browsers available for download from the market. Dolphin HD is a good alternative to the stock browser.

So, your point is that you think it's in the browsers, and that different browsers would give me different operating system options, and if I had the correct browser, of the many browsers available, then the OS menu options would match with the ones referred to in this topic? So, browsers makes the difference, huh ? How do browsers change the OS menus ? ...and which is the browser that does this ?

I want to thank you for your help, anyway, but, here's how it is done:

I don't even know how to respond to this.......Pancho you sir are a Genius!

Do you think the word "jackass" is an internationally recognized term? Just curious.

You are easily recognized, and your chosen term is a suitable description for you, and internationally is an understatement--you are universal. You're on every forum.
