Help How do I browse full web pages?

alfie-gee

Newbie
Just switched from HTC Desire to Samsung Galaxy Note.

I can't find any settings on the web broswer to display "full" web pages instead of mobile version.... please tell me I can do this?!

Or do I need another web browser? If so, which is best ?

Many thanks

You can change the user agent for the default browser but that will have to be done everytime you restart the browser.
I personally use "Dolphine Browser HD", its the best!!! Just choose your user agent when installing as "desktop" and then it will remain that way always.

I use Opera Mobile, it also has a UA selection option so you can have persistent desktop UA and browsing. Either that or Dolphin are good options.

Thanks guys I am trying both of these. ...

Another thing I miss about my HTC Web Browser is that it resized the text to fit the screen.
I wonder is there any way of getting hold of the HTC Web Browser?

PS This is the only negative I have regarding the Note, everything else rocks!

Hi All,

I've recently upgraded from an HTC Desire to the Note as well, and unless I'm being completely blind, there doesn't seem to be a HOME button in the stock browser either?
