Root How do I flash Rom add ons?

There seems to be quite a few add ons for the various custom roms I've came accross. How do I add them?

If they are in a flashable form, you flash the ROM, then flash the add-on. No need to reboot inbetween, but if you forget you can always go back into recovery and flash them.

(Note the word "recovery". I'm assuming that as a sensible person you are not using ROM Manager )
