Root How do I install Nandroid

Newbie
I have found lots of posts on how to use Nandroid, but nothing on how to install it. Are there any guides I am missing?

a nandroid is a backup made by your recovery. Clockwork Recovery nandroids do not work with SPRecovery and vise versa.

To install one just extract the folder onto your sd card in the clockworkmod\backup folder if you are using clockwork
or in the nandroid folder if you are using SPRecovery.

Then Boot into recovery and restore the backuyp
 
Be aware that a Nandroid Backup made with ClockWork Mod restores only under Clockwork, and one SPRecovery only restores under SPRecovery.
