Root How do I restore everything to factory settings?

Hi guys, it's been a while since I've even turned my phone on and now I want to sell it. So I'm trying to restore everything to factory settings and format the SD card to get rid of all my stuff. Problem is, since it's been a while since I've used the phone, I don't remember how to do much of anything with it.

Currently, it's on MIUI-Evo-1.4.22.

I turned it off and held volume down while pressing the power button (one of the few things I still remember ) and selected "clear storage"...Other than that, I have no idea what I'm doing, lol.

How do I go back to the stock Sense UI and erase all my stuff?

i would read and follow http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/194918-rooting-dummies.html guide. there is a section on how to unroot. if you have any questions then please feel free to ask.

Are you wanting to unroot the phone or just return it to an "out of the box" appearance for the buyer?
