Help how do I screenshot???

Hello, I just bought the 4G lte yesterday and I don't know how to do a screenshot. I've googled it and it said the hold the home & power button but that does not work for me. The other android phone I had I used the down volume & power button. Does anybody know how to do a screenshot???

If you decide to root the device, Screenshot UX makes a great app/widget for screen capturing.

it worked for me, but getting it right on the money is a bit buggy for me. probably user error due to the cheap tpu case if got it in. doesn't do all that great with some of the buttons.
