Help how do I transfer pics to computer?

I connected to USB and after I turn on mass storage mode, there is no folder that has the pics I've taken with my phone there.

On my bb I could just plug in and it would sync the pics to my computer.


any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if "turn on mass storage mode" meant turning it on in the settings or mounting the card, but if it's the former, be sure to mount the card as well.

The pictures (and videos) are located in DCIM/Camera, for whatever illogical reason. Please do ask if you have any more questions or problems.

I am having trouble doing this as well. I tried to send as attachment, Im getting file too big error. I tried plugging in through my USB, and I cant seem to find a way to tranfer to my desktop. Im not very tech savy...PLEASE HELP ME, Thanks!!! (pics and video)

Well, other than emailing, you could upload them to a site Picasa (everyone gets a Picasa account with your google account). If you go into the Gallery app, you can view a picture (or multiple pictures - ask if you want that), and select the button that says Menu (NOT to be confused with the Menu softkey - stupid naming problem on either Samsung or Google's part) followed by Share, and whatever method you want to send/upload it.

If you want to transfer them via USB, connect it to your computer. Then on your phone, drag down the notification bar at the top and select the "USB Connected" box that should be there, followed by Mount. Now you can view your phone's SD card on your computer, very much like a flash drive. The camera ones are located in DCIM/Camera.

You have to mount the SD card because only one device can access it at a time - either your phone or the computer. If you try to play music or view photos, the phone will say that it can't access them. Please do remember to do the Safety Remove Hardware thing if you're on Windows, it's nicer to the SD card.
