Root How do I unroot my samsung transform ultra?!?!?!

So last night I decided to root my Transform Ultra using a thread on THIS exact website. I used both of these websites trying to find an alternative to unroot the damned thing!

I'm about to just smash it! I'm going to upgrade soon, and I'm pretty sure that they won't give me my free upgrade especially since the warranty would be voided... So someone please help me. I'm down to my last nerve here.

Ok. I will try to find my Stock Sprint Rom. I am also on Sprint but for some reason I do not have my Stock Sprint Rom. Everything I have is for Boost. I will try to find it.

OK. I found one of my backups. This will actually take you back to 2.3.4. I will provide link once the upload finishes.

You will have to unzip, and put the entire folder in sdcard/clockworkmod/backup.
Then reboot into CWM.
Scroll down to backup/restore.
Find the new zip.
Flash the new zip.

File is going to take a while to upload. Once done I will let you know.

Sorry for the delay, upload was interrupted.

use as a backup. Any deviation from op's guide may
produce undesired results. Even though we try our best
not to have this happen, sometimes it does. Ultimately,

Download this link ---> Sprint 2.3.4 Stock Rom <---

  1. Unzip file.
  2. Take entire folder (1980-01-06.00.02.04) and place the file (on device) in /sdcard/colckworkmod/backup.
  3. Going to assume you know how to flash being as your device is rooted.
  4. Go in CWM and restore backup (1980-01-06.00.02.04)

Again, this will take you back to 2.3.4 not 2.3.6 but your root and CWM will be gone. You will lose all data and apps.

Okay, I will attempt. Do you know of any other Android OS that will work with the Samsung Transform Ultra? If so, where can I look/find it? I mean like 3.x, or even 4.x. If not that's fine, I'm just curious. Like I said if you do, just point me in that direction as to where to find and if I'm still going to need CWM and if that too can be unrooted? Thanks for the help! :)

There are several ROM's out right now but none are 3.x or 4.x... The kernel can not support it as of right now. The best out is MegaTron 6.1.1 and CTmod has been recently updated, so that is catching steam again.
Yes, with any custom ROM you need to be rooted with CWM.
Both ROMs can be found in The All Things Root section.
Give me a minute and I'll provide the links.

Alright I tried it, and the Clock Work Mod-based Recovery won't go, and bring back the original boot image. I unzipped the folder you supplied me with, and have tried twice to restore from that saved image. I even tried an advanced restore where I just tried to restore the boot image. What am I doing wrong?

Your not doing anything wrong. It may be (and most likely) the file I sent, as it was interrupted during upload. I will look at it and repost.

lol. That means part of it went through.
  1. Try to wipe dalvik and cache.
  2. Then reboot.
  3. Let it load all the way.
  4. Then go back into CWM and try again.

As you know, you can't flash the update as it tries to find all original files of a stock rom.

Have a new version uploading now. This one you can leave zipped and flash like a normal ROM. Will provide link as soon as it is finishing uploading.

This is different as it will leave you at 2.3.6 but no root or CWM.

This was also made by chevron360.

I need to try and get rid of CWM. I don't know what it's called, but that needs to go so I can put the original boot image back in which is what I think it's called. I tried that Odin thing like I said when I first said, but that wasn't working.

That is exactly what I was trying to give him, dmcjr22. But Loota did it better. Mine was actually my own file but corrupted I believe. I see no reason why Lotta's version would not work.

But here is the link I promised ---> Sprint_Stock_ROM

That should get you where you want to be. No Root and No CWM.

I tried that and got that MD5 mismatch error. I've read about that. Easy fix?
