how do ya'll clean your screens?

I can tell you right now...for those using cleaning wipes....

I fly airplanes where the displays cost over $100k a piece. We are provided 2 different kinds of "wipes" in the cockpit. One is a benzalkonium chloride(basically what you get after you finish your wings at Hooters) and the other is an alcohol wipe. The BK wipes are provided to disinfect microphones and O2 masks but will damage the displays due to their acetone like properties. The others are alcohol based(Baush and Lomb branded)... Just keep it alcohol based and you should be fine.

I put a screen protector on because if you let someone see your phone before you "clean" it off they can see your unlock patterns

I use an iphone to wipe down my EVO

While this may sound like a good idea at first but everyone should realize it's not very efficient as the iPhone is soooo small :D it may take you a while to wipe the Evo's screen. :)

On a more serious note... I do use the micro fiber cloths I have from my old iPhone.

I wipe it on my shirt. Of course, my shirt is stitched together from three hundred microfiber cloths. But both my shirt, and nipples, are free of fingerprints.

iclean by monster got a couple of spray bottles and the wiper, real cheap on clearance from RS ($3)

works great on my ipad and the evo

I saw the screen scratch video showed on engadget and I also thought i was protected from scratches thus never got a screen protector for it. But the other day I noticed two small scratches on the screen. I'm not sure how it got scratched but It's there and permanent. So I'm not sure I want to get a invisible screen on it but there's alot of liquid put on the screen that I dont know if I will mess the phone up. But yea my screen did got scratched and it didnt take a razor to scratch it that's for sure. So take care of your phones...

with the right wallpaper applied .... you can just lick it clean :P

(Mabster beat me to the punch)

About 5 minutes ago I was pondering ordering a screen protector but was in no hurry. Then I checked my screen and oh no a cluster of scratches. I have no idea how it happened but I just ordered a couple screen protectors from Boxwave. Damn I hate scratches.

miranda is certainly a peach.

where are the live wallpapers with the VS angels prancing about? we needs it!

I like how only 1 person really answered your question, instead they gave what they do instead... I had an HTC Touch before my Evo, and the screen protector on it lasted for all 28 months I used the phone, never peeled, never had any issues; however I could never get it "clean" my iPhone friends who used their devices naked always made fun of my "dirty little screen". Well WHO'S LAUGHING NOW, HUH!!!!
(for what its worth, I use a micro-fiber cloth bought from a Walmart vision center for $2, I also am running around naked...)

...piece of crap iPhone... I only hate it because of the people I know that own one...
