How do you carry you Incredible 2

I am not sure how to do a poll, so I will ask this way.

How do you carry your DINC2?

Pocket or belt clip.

I am currently carry in my pocket but am thinking of upgrading to Seidio Surface Combo or I may just go with Otterbox Commuter Case.
Any recommendations?

how do you carry yours?

Verizon's shell/holster combo with kickstand. protects against most drops when unholstered, and 99% of drops when holstered. doesn't add much bulk and can be snapped on and off in a hurry.

Pocket. I started with the Otterbox Commuter, but have since switched to the Seidio Surface (case only). The Otterbox shell is too slick, and the rubber part is a lint magnet.

The Seidio Surface is a great case. It looks awesome, feels good in the hand, doesn't collect lint, and goes in and out of the pocket with ease.

@the208- Does the surface get stuck in the pocket like most gel skins do? I want to make sure that I go without a holster, when I take out of my pocket, not everything else comes with it.

No, it does not get stuck in my pocket. I'm not sure what the finish is on the case, but it does not grab everything else in my pocket when I remove it. It is not sticky like a gel skin.

Pocketing the Dinc2 is not a viable option for me with the threat of getting scuffs and scratches on it from carrying keys, zippo, money clip, pocketknife and change. So it is a holster for me.

Inexpensive holster:

TPU case, doesn't add a lot of bulk and fits really well:

Also since I don't have to worry too much about scratches, an inexpensive screen protector for keeping fingerprints and gunk from accumulating on the glass itself:

This is what I use.

I'm not a fan of putting a phone in my pocket. IMO this is how lint and dust get under the screen. You also run more of a chance of scratching the glass putting a phone in your pocket.

And to those who put the phone in their pocket, quit bitching about dust under your screen or scratches on your phone.

If you are assuming I am bitching about either of those things since you quoted me:

I have been pocketing phones for years, way before gorilla glass and never had one scratch. Do you guys carry razor blades in your pockets?

And I have never had anything under my screen. I would think dust would come from other environments way before a pocket as I do wash my clothes.

I quoted you so indicate who I was replying to.

Whenever I ask someone who says they have dust / lint under the screen how they carry the phone they always say in my pocket.

It's not appreciated to assume that just because someone prefers to use a holster that they are a pansy or a nerd.

Well then it isn't appreciated to assume fanny pack wearers are nerds! haha.... Hey man to each their own. Was just responding to something I found odd, just like if I saw someone wearing a fanny pack. Doesn't make it wrong though. :)

Some Verizon leather belt holster for Monday-Thursday at work. Any other time it goes in my pocket. I don't care about looking like a "douche" at work.

I use the Verizon case/holster combo as well. I may wear it a little differently from everyone else, however.

I clip the holster to the inside of my pocket. This way the phone always sits on the top of my pocket and can't fall to the bottom. I stick my thumb in my pocket, push it against the back of the phone and slide the phone up, out of the holster and into my palm.

I also just received my Seidio active case today (which I love, btw!). The top-hinged style of holster won't let me wear the phone in the same manner (mentioned above). The holster will be great to clip to my Camelback or larger pack when hiking/camping/etc giving me quick access to the phone for GPS/camera functions.

got an otterbox comuter case looks like it will keep this phone in one piece with no real bulk put it in pocket then in cupholder of car
