If you actually want to change system icons, you'll need to replace the existing ones in framework-res.apk, resign the apk, then push it back to system (adb or a flashable zip, not just copying it there). If you're talking about an app icon, the it's about the same, but you'd need to copy the apk to your computer, make the change, resign it, then just install it as normal or push it to /system/app. If you just want to pull out the icons, that's pretty easy.
thanks for covering, forgot he asked about widgets...my clear pandora follows me everywhere...so does red and blue swype keyboards, gots ta have my colorful swypes![]()
In some apps there is a corresponding lib.so file you need to push to /syste,/libOk I'm going to need an asop flip clock.. is there any like the sence version
. I'm not sure if you've ever used a Sense ROM with the AOSP lock screen, but it has an issue where the alarm will never turn off. To get around it, you need to use the AOSP deskclock. In this case, you're trying to do the opposite. For one, expect the clock itself to not work right. As for the flipclock widget, that will never work outside of the Sense launcher, even in a Sense ROM.yo thats funny... I had set the alarm and could not get it off for like 10 mins.. I wound up deleting the appp... my GF was pissed.. "Shut that $%#@#####@#@$$$ off.... lol..
