dial ##3282#
go to edit
enter MSL
go to others
Multimedia
and change RTSP Proxy Address and HTTPPD Proxy Adress to 000.000.0.0(i have also tried 000.000.000.000 and 0.0.0.0)
also on MMSC URL on the previous menu remove the / at the end. and same thing on the DSS,
i think thats pretty much it. i had full reception when i did the test. i was in my car and it was around 11:00 pm.
i also have apn manager and apn enabled. im on shabbymod 9 with the ee14 update and clockworkmod and i have the royal android theme.

389-518 kbps up

3486-6528 kbps down

On cell network I get 2200kbps about (2500 once) down and 650 up. On wifi mine maxes out at 4500 and 690 even though i know my ipod touch is getting 6500 and 750. So the wifi chip i believe is the limiting factor on this but could be wrong, and thoever got 5k the test was wrong, evdo rev A the 3g only maxes out at 2800 down and 1000 up due to technological limitations.

All tests are done with speed test app and the setting all the way to performance.
