Root How get droid back to unrooted 2.1?

I rooted and installed a stock 2.2 rom last week, and it doesn't really offer anything I need. On top of that it seems to make things run slower.

With 2.2 being confirmed for next week by Motorola, i'm fine with just going back to stock 2.1 and getting the official update when it comes.

How would I remove root and all traces of me messing with the phone?

Chronologically what I did:
1.) Root.
2.) Flash BB 0.4 using Rom Manager (it was really buggy).
3.) Flashed the FRG01B Rom using Rom Manager.
