How good is mini/micro-HDMI?

I'm not sure if this has mini or micro. regardless, how does it's connector stack up against a full HDMI port? I'm trying to decide between this and the Toshiba tablet, which has a full size HDMI port.

I'm wondering if the smaller connector the Iconia uses is less capable at all, if there are certain HDMI features it loses to to the size drop. otherwise, why not just put micro HDMI in everything, you know?

It's a micro hdmi type D, pretty sure that they are the same as full size it's just a change to the plug shape, sure it still has something like 19 connections within it.

There is no difference between the Full sized HDMI and the Micro HDMI (Type D) connector both have 19 pins. The output is awesome.

I have both the Iconia Tab A500 and the Sony Xperia Arc. Both play 720p HD output using the Micro HDMI (Type D) connector.

1080p format is not available until Honeycomb 3.0 gets an update hopefully by Q2 2011.
