Help How is 4G/3G data service on the Evo 3D?

Goodandevo.net is full of half-baked stories like this. It's just one guy's guess, and he's stating it like news. And he happened to correlate an increase in 3G speed to that update. Correlation does not imply causation, as many of you are discovering when you check your speeds and see no difference.

That *half-baked story* is exactly what I'm experiencing for the last 2 days since the mysterious update. I have no idea what's going on but the last 4 months I got 1.2M DL maybe twice. Now I get from .9M to 2.4M DLs consistently. I rather like it!!

how do i see whether is 3G a anot??? how do i set it to 3G on always??? Cause i only can see H at my signal line, i wanted to try to switch on to 3G but i cant. someone teach me please...

Hello all, this is really not an issue. I have noticed when sending picturemail my phone will switch to 3g while still showing the 4g icon so both of them show. As soon as the picture is sent it switches back to 4g. Its never done this before, was wondering if anyone knew why? Anyone else notice this?

thats normal. text and pic(mms) messages are not sent over the LTE network.

Right, mms is sent over the 3g network and sms is sent over the 1xrtt network.
