How is GB running?

i am running liberty 1.5 on mine and i am thinking about flashing back to stock. how has gb been doing with the phone? any real complaints to praises for it?

you're probably going to get a lot of mixed answers lol.

My opinion was that i loved the GB update. In fact personally i wouldn't run anything Froyo based on my DX anymore.

go to Liberty 3 v2.0, GB based. I was like you on the froyo Liberty then made the leap to GB Liberty and runs smooth as silk. I don't know if I noticed any real speed increase, but I can sleep better knowing I have the latest and greatest Liberty!

Edit: I really like the power control stuff underneath the task bar when you swipe it down on GB.

My wife has a Droid X we bought used. It's been OK but there are occassional reboots and freezes and failures to answer calls that have occured. I'm trying to decide if the phone is acting up (hardware) or if there are bad apps or if the underlying OS ROM is at fault.

Thoughts on how to proceed?

What rom/version of android are you running? You say you got it used, did you wipe it when you got it? Is it overclocked?

Like I posted earlier I'm running Liberty3 and its rock solid. Only goofiness I've ever had was when I was overclocking and running low voltage.

Gingerbread wrecked my droid x. When I listened to my music through bluetooth, the phone would reboot randomly every minute or so...

I did the blackhat two step root method and have had no issues since!

Funny... The very act of being rooted cleared up the issues with nothing else done to the phone. Just rooting it cleared up the problems! :D

rooting doesnt do anything to the phone except give you administrative rights. it sounds like the problem cleared itself up when you wiped data or cache.
