how long do we have to wait??

I've been checking the net daily in hopes of an announcement for the launch date. Is there any idea when the announcement will be made?

Seems silly to stay silent on the release date when the iphone 6 is 2 days away... I'd think they would want to work at heading off all those customers with a date commitment. Seems to be poor marketing strategy on Samsung's behalf.
 
yeah i keep checking, and the same 3 lame mainstream websites keep adding titles like "US launch date announced" to the same article they posted on 9/3 to get hits. Really annoying.

Anyone know a good source to hit that is a 1 stop shop for up-to-the-day info on the note edge + release date info? google searching + limit to last 24 hours is a garbage dig, and i don't trust the samsung + verizon mail list to get me the details soon enough.

I feel like the animal on the other end of the carrot/worm/treat. We know its out there. We want to know more about it. Heck, a ton of us just might buy it sight unseen (not me). I relish the quest for information but man...not much is forthcoming for sure.

I guess the old adage of only time will tell. Doesn't help my instant gratification issue though...LOL!

This still doesn't make sense.

While you seem to be promoting the Note 3; p64imp has shown zero interest (in his Edge thread) about the Note 3. It doesnt matter if the note is a penny or a million dollars. He is asking about the Edge drop date.

Posting "how long do we have to wait??" is pointless.
Have you looked at the price of the iPhone 5 compared to the iPhone 6? Oh wait, I'm now promoting the iPhone! Oh dainty duck! Oh dear!

if you took a time out from your trolling, you will see that i asked in my last post if anyone has a useful web site to keep watch on. Wouldn't mind as well sharing my angst with other users in the process, such as Bearcats.

You on the other hand couldn't be more useless and distracting to this thread. If the point you are trying to make is "a dropping price in the note 3 is an indication that we will see something soon" as a hypothesis, you certainly have a poor way of phrasing yourself...
 
From what I've read they seem to be having challenges manufacturing the curved screen. That has to be a big factor in any delay on availability communication.
 
I am looking forward to the Edge. I just sized up my DNA with Otterbox case at Best Buy and its the same size as the Note 3 so the Note 4/Edge should be no issue size wise for me! :D
 
Okay, okay, let's keep it civilized in here. We're all anxious.

No name calling or accusational tones. We discuss products and processes... WE NEVER ATTACK ONE ANOTHER.

I believe the post was not to sell Note 3s in a Note Edge thread: rather to demonstrate increasing imminence of the Note 4's (and Edge's) release by reporting the incredibly low price that a device like the Note 3 is going for now.

We wait for news on a 24-hour cycle... with members around the world, somebody's always awake. So yes, we're on edge (no pun intended) about the release of this hard-to-get and VERY expensive phone.

So let's take a deep breath and put our focus where it needs to be: on the PHONE, not on each other.

this talk about the note edge being much more expensive than the note 4 is worrying.....

when it was first announced i was throwing money at my monitor but now, i dont know..
 
Read a article on Google now just a little while ago. It says it will be released in the U.S Nov. 4.

Take it for whats its worth though. I would think retail/phone stores will have it out before the holidays.
 
I think they're waiting for the Verizon model to get through the FCC before they make the announcement. Everyone else's version has gone through, just waiting on Big Red. But hopefully that November 4 date is accurate.

Sounds about right to me

T-Mobile expected to get the HTC One M8 for Windows on November 9 | Windows Central

T-mobile, ATT, and Sprint versions already passed through the FCC and the 14th would be about 1 month out from when the 4 was released, so the 14th definitely adds up. Sprint typically releases major phones on Fridays, so that date fits perfectly in with their protocols of the past.
