Root How long until root?

I was wondering, from your past experience, how long does it usually take for a root solution to be released after a new build is rolled out? Are people working furiously behind the scenes, as I imagine?

I just got a replacement S4 with 4.4.2 (vrufnc5), and i'm trying to be patient, but I can't wait til I can root this phone!

Verizon right? Haven't hear much on KK root on the S4. You might check our VZW SG4 root forum and see if anybody has any knowledge of new events?

Why's everyone always in a rush for updates??? What you had rooted. Deodexed. Custom . will run circles around a NEW os. No harm. But its like females with new bieber CDs. Omggggggggggg their is an update!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh. I. Must. Update. Sit down. Wait for it to have root. Then get a custom ROM carrying it.

And roots depend on the phones popularity. Most all have moved to s5 or such. S4 to me seems to get missed alot. Plus yours is a replace. Not update. ADHD sorry. Haha
