How many are using Extended batteries vs Standard?

I got the extended battery because it was on sale, and I wasn't sure what kind of battery life I'd get. Turns out I can get through the day on the regular battery, but I've found myself just using the extended all the time now - it's too much trouble taking the case off, the back off, switching batteries, putting the other back on, then finally getting it in the other case. I wish there was a better case for the extended battery, the shell/holster from VZW is OK, but I don't usually use the holster, so the top and bottom of the phone are not protected.
 
I love using my extended battery. It lasts me an entire day even with GPS on the entire day.

the extended battery makes the phone about an 8th of an inch thicker than the part of the phone with the camera. the camera is now the thinnest part of the phone.
 
Standard here...It gets me through the day. If I need more ill plug it up when Im at home. Dont have any issues at all with the stock battery. VERY happy with it.
 
My standard battery works fine since I only unplug for commutes anyway.
I see no reason when at home, or in office, it can't be plugged in.
I think the extended battery makes the phone look ugly. Just my two cents.
 
I've been getting around 27 hours on a single charge with the extended battery. I use juicedefender so i'm not sure how much that plays a part. I don't really care for the verizon cover, and would prefer an otter box back, but I don't know of any on the market that'll work with the extended battery.
 
Extended Barry- low usage to mid usage
A few phone calls, check emails, Facebook, google navigation, and the rest was standby time.

Still using the stock battery and very satisfied. Better battery life than I could have hoped for, even with pretty heavy use. Of course, having the second battery and battery charger is def great. But I rarely even need the second battery.
 
Stock battery & satisfied. Makes it thru the day. Maybe when 4G becomes available, I might have to upgrade.

JD does play a part, at least in my case (it also estimates how much its saving you). With the Pro version, my typical life on the standard battery is 17hrs and I've done 26. Depending on your settings, usage, and bigger battery, I'm sure you can exceed 27 hours.

That said, I'm on the standard battery and can charge at the office, in the car, at home, and most places I go. Standard battery works just fine for me.
 
Let's see...this poll shows OVER HALF the people voting (as of 10am Oct 23) purchased the EXTENDED BATTERY.

At least we had the ability to buy an extended battery, when we saw the need.

I am flying across country (to AZ) next week and I am VERY HAPPY that I can pop in my second battery while in flight!

No sealed (non-removable battery) phone for me.

Boy, there will be a lot of battery life complaints!
 
I am a heavy user of my phone for everything from mileage logging, work hour logging, notes, News (I am a news junkie), Texting, Market quotes, GPS, Bible reading, blood sugar tracking, MP3 player and of course cell phone. I usually kill both the standard battery and the extended battery every day. My day usually starts at 5:00am and ends around 9am so 16 hours of use.

I love the extended battery and would like to buy another if I could find a stand alone charger for it. Anyone know where I can find one?

The extended battery is great. I like that I don't have to worry about possibly having to charge my phone after 10 hours of use.
 
I have the extended battery but haven't started using it yet........until I can get a TPU cover that fits the extended battery.......


TPU says the extended battery cover will be available about October 29th........

Verizon has a stand alone battery charger you can get with an extra battery.
