How many TBs have been sold

I wish I knew, just out of curiosity. There has to be some way of finding out.

I've seen a few "in the wild." Because of contracts, and the delay of the Bionic, this could be a top seller for quite a while. Even newer devices may not sell as well because people love HTC Sense, they know the device will be updated, they know fixes are on the way, and it rocks.

Verizon doesn't reveal that kind of information. Nobody knows how many Droid Incredibles or Droid Xs sold even today.

Yeah you would think that u could just google that. But its hard to get that info. Last time someone posted something about this was about the TB outselling the Iphone on Verizon.

Tb isn't outselling any phone on Verizon. Those were estimates or opinions by analysts. I would take it all with a grain of salt.

I haven't seen any TBs in the wild at all. I see droid 2. Droid x. Incredible. And iPhones. That's pretty much it. There is an occasional fascinate.

I wonder why they don't release those numbers? That seems strange to me, what's their reasoning behind not wanting to release that data?

I certainly wouldn't equate not seeing any in the wild with them not selling any however. I've only ever seen two iPhones in the wild, but I'm pretty sure they've sold a few more than that.

I dont remember where I saw thia statiatic but you can google it....the TB sold more than the iphone on Verizon. :)

Look at the post above yours...

2.2 million VERIZON iPhones vs 260,000 VERIZON HTC Thunderbolts

Analysts were way off. I can't believe they get paid to predict that almost 50% of AT&T iPhone users would switch to Verizon and that the TB was outselling iPhone on Verizon?!

I could care less how many sold.. I just enjoy my i-friends finally admitting that their next phone will be some kind of android phone... apple is finally getting boring to the original adopters... so for the new VZW iphone users it might get old faster cause android is moving forward alot faster than apple

+1 :)

Found a page that had analysts saying 2.1m I phones would move first qtr on Verizon and that TB had beat I phones in March. Soooo in anycase we must have a good size group forming.

Moving forward with an unpolished OS that is. Not to mention in the TBs case you'll need a couple batteries to keep going.

Everyone I know who got a TB returned it for iPhone or went back to droid x

yes actually. The phone left a real bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.
