How much data do you use on an average a month?

I'm trying to decide whether to stick with VZW and my unlimited data plan, or switch to an ATT family plan with unlimited data. The VZW unlimited plan is much better from what I understand. So far I do not average much data usage, though that is with my small screen iPhone 4S and 3G connection. I'm planning on getting the large screen Note2 and LTE speed.

Not sure if I will go over even 2GB a month with LTE. Just curious to hear what you think and how much data you use on average prior to the Note2 and now with the Note2.

Thanks.

prior to android, i had a BB.. i only use 250KBs... never went over
then i got a Nexus... and went up to 2-2.5GBs a mos
now with the Note... I expect to be anywhere 2.5-3GBs

i have 6GBs on my monthly plan...

I think you might be surprised how much data you will use on the note 2. I have an unlimited plan and am glad of it, its too tempting to use the lovely big screen on the note 2 for everything from web browsing to gaming and watching movies.

Everywhere I go has wifi usually so data isn't really an issue for me. I use about 1gb a month, but if it wasn't for wifi I would be over 8gb.

same here. just set it up to use wifi at your friends place, starbucks, home depot, whole foods etc etc etc where ever you go frequently and it will alleviate some of the GB usage.

I rarely use public wifi, in the event I have to do it I turn off sync and I don't go to any websites where I need to use confidential info such as banking. I don't take chances on coughing up my passwords on just anyone's wifi.

I always think that a small data cap on a phone like the Note 2 will just spoil the way you use the phone. You will always be wary of looking at that YouTube or Facebook video or watching 30 mins of tv while waiting at the doctors.

If you can afford it, get the unlimited plan any enjoy the phone to its full potential

10-15 gb on my sprint note 2....3-5 gb on my att phone...mainly because they throttle my speeds at 5gb.

our transition of our 6 att lines to sprint is almost complete

I have unlimited data on my Bionic. I'm upgrading to the Note2 using a different line, so I could keep the unlimited if I wanted to. But, even with 4G and lots of email checking and web browsing, I don't ever hit 1Gb! If you watch TV on your phone, or stream the radio everyday, you will need more. I'm thinking of voluntarily giving up my unlimited and going to the share everything plan, so we have unlimited cell phone minutes for the same price we spend now on the family plan with 700 minutes (3 smartphones, and one feature phone).

i did just what you say and added a tablet plan for 10 bucks a month. still saving like 30ish per month. pays for the note 2. but if your a big streamer like you said then stick with unlimited

Usually 1.5gb. I don't really watch streaming video, though I do stream music via spotify and Stern via Sirius some. I web browse heavily at work almost all day.

Before my town got 4G, I was averaging 1-2 gig per month, but since then I average around 10 gig per month so I won't be giving up my unlimited. I don't stream movies, but a lot of music and web surfing.

900 mb mobile this month - and thats quite high! I'm on Vodafone and they offered a eat all you can for 3 months. Normally its under 500mb as thats my contract. On 3g so anymore and it would be painful.

Normally I do updates, uploading etc via wifi at home so its not a problem.

Not a whole lot since I use wifi a lot. Any given month it's somewhere around 700-900MB. I have an unlimited plan on AT&T so I'm not worried about exceeding any limit even with the 4G throttling.

Before I had LTE it was less than 3 gigs, but now i am on LTE I am going way over I am currently at 5 gigs lol. I am so glad I still have my unlimited data with att. =D
