Just gauging what people are paying for their phones. Please vote for the price before tax. Thanks

Post where you bought yours, if you don't mind.

$230+ with screen protector! at an at&t store, im not crazy on this phone shipping thru mail/ups, screw that, did it with my iPhone 3G, and look where that phone is now, a toy for my pops! :D

LetsTalk.com 99 bucks. Missed the 49.99 special cause I didn't pull the trigger quick enough. BTW will never deal with Lets Talk again. Corrupt bunch of bastages

Upgrade at BestBuy $149.99 + CA tax (taxed full price) so came out to ~$200. But I voted $100-$150 because I'm not including tax.

i got mine for free and 100$ back

lol traded my iPhone 4 on cl for it and guy gave me the phone and 100$ cash :)

phone was messed up so sent it to att got a brand new one and i could not be any more happy :)

this phone kicks ass

400$ no commitment, with free shipping off eBay at the beginning of this month. Unopened box. Very happy.

Origionally 200.00 at Best Buy with upgrade. Got 50.00 (60 something with tax) back when they dropped it to 150.00. On my second one, but very happy with it now!

Letstalk.com - $25 after $25 off coupon code for 2-year contract renewal on family plan w/200MB data plan. Came with free car charger, and my 550 minute plan which was supposed to be changed to 700 minutes, but it didn't =). First time ordering through Letstalk.com, Captivate arrived quick, worked great after SIM in, no problems, guess I was lucky.

Is there an advantage to getting it at a AT&T brick and mortar store versus somewhere else? I know they're not the highest in price but other places have it cheaper.

AT&T B&M and online has the guaranteed 1 year warranty through AT&T. Other retailers, AT&T can deny it since they technically only cover if you bought from them [AT&T].

That said, people have got replacements from AT&T even when not purchasing through them.

I was in the AT&T store, and someone had a phone with a problem that they told them they couldn't help them. They were polite about it and all, but they simply told them that they're competitors with the online places, and don't offer support.

I know I could have paid less elsewhere, but I've been back to the store several times and they were very helpful each time.

Anyway, I don't want people to get the idea they'll just help out anybody, and that there is the potential to get denied if you get it online somewhere.

$0.00 from letstalk. A phone like this for free, I'll take the risk!

GPS doesn't work, but hey it's free.
