im not to sure exactly what titanium does when it moves apps. but my guess is that it is similar to apps2sd. darktremor is a script that runs and you can command it via terminal emulator or script manager.

i used this guide to partition my card:

Thanks as always for your replies!! However, as usual, answer beget more questions

...
I also found an apps2sd a2sd+ thread here in the forums:

Specifically scroll down to the "Is it any better in Gingerbread?" FAQ question. I am confused by the answer...Gingerbread is BETTER?? Or does Dark Tremor move MORE/is better? It appears further down in the above link FAQ under "Are there other options when rooted?" it specifically mentions that Titanium can move apps to SD card but does NOT utilize a partition (and that clarifies your previous thoughts on what Titanium does in your reply)...so I was wondering why there was reference to Gingerbread??
The above Android Forums link also mentions that apps on the SD card need to put back into the internal memory. I've got QUITE a premium on my internal storage and I'll have to do a BUNCH of jockeying to do that!!

If I free up some space, can I simply use my Titanium backups??...reinstall app and data from the backups into the internal memory as "needed" and then have darktremor do its thing??
There is also mention of specific ROMs where the darktremor script works...and some/many STOCK ROMs where it will not work. I flashed the rooted Gingerbread 2.3.3 ROM (deodexed at the moment)...will darktremor work with this ROM?? Will it work if I enable the init.d as described in the following link?:
[HOWTO] Enable init.d on stock *rooted* Desire roms - xda-developers
WOW, I'm getting technical and in over my head!!
Lastly, in a coincidental/semi-related way, I received an odd message this evening attempting to use Titanium to move an app to my SD card (NOT force-moving an app...dev implementing ability to move the app if I choose) and got a the following message in Titanium:
Sorry Android 2.2/Froyo only supports a maximum of 123 apps on the SD card
The problem is...I'm using a GINGERBREAD 2.3.3 STOCK ROM!!
I posted a new thread about this very issue because, though related where this thread has lead to, the issue may not be found here and might benefit someone else if easily found in a separate post:

THANKS AGAIN for the info!!
