How Often Do You Reboot Your Desire?

Had mine since it came out, rebooted yesterday for the first time,i was transferring 12 music tracks by bluetooth to my laptop, after 5 or so tracks phone froze completely, had to remove battery, tried again same thing.I was using Efile , in the end did it by cable.

I do a battery pull every week, week and a half. Old habits die hard. Just gives the phone a wee boot in the arse now and again.

What?? One reboot in over a year! And that's with stock Android / Sense?

Uptime of 109 hours at the mo.
Probably the longest it's run without a reboot because I was a flashaholic but as there hasn't been a Redux update for a while I haven't flashed much recently.

You've stuck with redux a while. You like?

Yes, it keeps on going and still hasn't annoyed me yet ;)
Most ROMs ended up annoying me in one way or another and made me look for new pastures but Redux is still fast and stable so I haven't left it.

Reboot only when I try a new ROM or update the existing ROM version (usually once a week).

If your phone is dropping that much sitting idle overnight, you have a rogue app or something else draining the battery. Do you have WiFi and Bluetooth running all night too?

I charge my phone to 100% every morning before work and between 9.30am and 5.30pm it sits in my pocket idle (except a 2 min phonecall to my wife at lunchtime) with mobile internet/wifi/bluetooth etc switched off and by 5.30pm I'm always down to about 88%.

However my work is in a really bad signal area...would my phone be using up lots of battery trying to find signal? And if not, how would I find out if a rogue app is draining my battery?

I'd say that sounds pretty good, especially if your phone is hunting for a signal all day. My phone is down to about 75% by the time I get home at 5.20 after leaving home at 7.00.

Nice.

I suppose, thinking about it, it's very rare I reboot mine due to a problem.
