How soon will accessories likely be available?

Update! I just got a zagg shield from best buy.... All of the evo accessories were locked in a drawer but I got one... They have a few cases.. And the zagg!

At first I was handed a one x zagg.... Had to do some explaining.. And then... He opened the drawer and :D
 
Batting 1000 today maybe with some luck I can find the otterbox.. That's really all that's left that I want.. Just for protection at work... Will keep everyone posted on my findings...
 
That sucks cause they have them already. I got mine yesterday andhe acted like they didn't have them and goes oh wait here's a box and i think he said that came in today. But if official relase date was Friday they have to of had them already.

I got most of my accessories. XO Skin, Ventev case, 64GB memory card. All I' need is my holster and I'll be ready for my phone tomorrow.

But one question: I want to put on the full skin but will that interfere with the TPU case and later, Otterbox Commuter?

If I were you I would call back and tell them most Sprint stores received shipments of accessories already and have them check the boxes. I called 3 stores all getting no's on a hunch called one back and had her physically check and they had everything. Also they are allowed to sell the merchandise ahead of time it is already in their system and ready to go.

I am sure by now they have to have it the store I got mine from said they got those boxes in on Monday so by now they should be everywhere.

Yeah, I'm going to check back again. I want a temp case and screen protector before I get my phone. Plus I want that Media Link.

Best buy has the accessories.. or atleast the one near me in south jersey did BUT they were not on the shelves.. after alittle bit of prying i was told they were locked in a drawer and the sales associate was nice enough to open it up for me.. they had 2 different kinds of cases and they also had zagg shields.. no otterbox's yet commuter or defender.

I didn't get a chance to check woot out last night. Nontheless, I think it's worth it to check them out too, especially at the price.

There is some talk about them possibly not being real, but I'm not buying it based on my past experiences with Justdeals.com.
 
Probably already been mentioned, but based on the amount of gripes about the fingerprint magnet on the back, I'm guessing we'll see a 3rd party (or even HTC) replacement before long.
 
I went to two Sprint stores (Snellville and Loganville GA). The Loganville store had no accessories or EVO's. The Snellville store had most of the accessories.

Sorry for late respond :( Nope on the USB cable. Assuming your current car charger is micro USB. Charge port on the back of the craddle is where you plug in your car charginng cable. The nice thing there is clip for the cable taking all.the weight instead of the charge port itself :) Very nice touch IMHO. Other than that pop your LTEVO in the car dock and LTEVO switches into car mode. Much improved over OG EVO for sure. Also you can go into the home screen (normal mode) and its in landscape as well, very nice :)

I have been using the car dock over the last couple of days and has been proven to be a quality product this far :D

Evrywhere I go they always show me one x accessories.. I always have to correct them.. I was just showed a commuter for the one x while I'm picking up my evo now

Phone arrived at home on Thursday at 11:39 AM
Seidio Case arrived via Fed Ex about 4:45 on Thursday
All is well with my new EVO LTE
 
So your home screen rotates when in the car dock. I haven't used mine yet cause the case I am using it won't fit. Waiting on my Seidio Surface case to come probably next week I am guessing unless Fed-Ex delivers tomorrow cause Monday is the holiday. I had Custom Car Home app I used on my 3D but people were saying Car Home Ultra is good. I guess I could go naked (no case) and use dock but my case is too much of a pain to keep taking on and off. But I love having a car dock got the Sprint one for my 3D last year. I also had a seidio home dock I kept by my bed hope they make one here soon.

this is why i plan to keep the device naked. the car dock is much nicer than previous docks and i do not care to keep moving the device in and out of a case. the big fat buttons on the dock rock.. :p

I guess I could go naked (no case) and use dock but my case is too much of a pain to keep taking on and off.

So to go naked I need to put back in that piece I took out is that right? I may do that just to see what it looks like tomorrow. If I can get my case out LOL! I need a car docking app and I am familiar with custom car home but I may try car home ultra. I love this phone!

Did you remove the insert from the cradle? If your LTEVO has a case on it, you'll need to remove that insert. Once you do, should fit just fine.

Once insert your LTEVO in to the car dock it switches automatically in car mode. If you press the home key it brings up the home screens in landscape mode. Works very nicely. :D
 
ive not read the operators manual on the dock.
so there is an insert you can remove to accommodate cases? this would make sense but then which cases would work with it?

Yes there is an insert..it works really well with the blue gel case that sprint is selling when you take the insert out...I'm really curious as to if the otterbox defender will fit in there..I have the blue gel one now..but I will mostly use the defender when it gets here..
 
Yes I removed the insert but I don't have my seidio surface case yet so the one I am using in the meantime the Otterbox Pink Commuter won't fit it has a flap to cover the port and has the gel case and a hard shell over it. I had the car dock for my 3D and when I docked it I had it ser for Custom Car Home as my default I loved it. But I was going to take my case off just to try the dock so I'll need to put the insert back in I think. But bringing up your home screen in landscape is cool I always had to turn it in the dock before. Thanks!
