I miss the Eris days.

Same here. I have two old Eris treasures sitting in a drawer at home. From time to time I turn them on and update a few things.

Just can't let go (and it doesn't help that a celebrity I adore has held my little Eris in his hands lol!)

But yes, still miss the Eris. My first smart phone! No other phone has fit in my hand the way that one did.
Also, the Eris is what led me to this site!

Always great to see a little thread bump here from an old (I presume ) friend...still using/got my Nexus 6P (hoping for Nougat OTA any minute now )...my son's waiting for the next Nexus to be announced...

I'm still on Lollipop. It takes me several weeks to get everything set up so I don't want to factory reset.

I hope not - I have a 6s.

I may come back to Android if there is ever a Nexus with 5" display or smaller that has great performance (unlike the 5x) and works on Verizon. (I'll be looking to upgrade in 2018, unless this phone spits the bit before then.)

I will not buy another Android phone that doesn't get Nexus level update support.
