Root How to add Live Wallpaper Picker back to Admiral Beast?

I have Admiral Beast on my Admire now and am loving it. I want to thank to devs who created and tweaked it, because it feels like I have a new phone now. Also using the Cloud Theme and really dig the white/blue notification bar. It is really cool how LauncherPro is integrated into the ROM. I never liked GoLauncher EX because it just felt sloppy and disconnected to me. Weird, I know. Anyhow...

The only issue I have is the lack of Live Wallpapers. I understand that Live Wallpapers pretty much destroys battery life but I like having the option of having it on my Admire if I want to use it sometime.

I have tried everything I can think of, including using CWM to add it from zip from the LiveWallpaperPicker.apk I put on my sd card. But whenever I try it always comes up with "Application not installed"

Only thing left I can think of is to somehow use ODIN to flash it back onto the phone. But I am not great with ODIN yet and would like to know if anyone has precise instructions on how to do it, if possible.

Thank you in advance.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Has anyone else succeeded in putting Live Wallpapers back in the Admiral Beast?

I am kinda curious why it was removed from the Beast to begin with. Was there a problem/conlict to leaving it in or was it simply done to help give the Beast that nice and light battery use that it has?

Probably to conserve space. I think you should probably just be able to ADB push it in there.

Get something such as root explorer, put the live wallpaper apk on your SD, from there, go to root explore, find the apk and long press it. Press the option, "move " navigate to the system/app folder. Make sure you change that option at the top of the explorer to r/o and simply hit paste. Long press again. Scroll to permissions. Make sure the permissions say rw-r-r. Change back to r/w and your all set. Your phone will reboot so don't freak out

genovdot....you rock! Thank you so much.

After all this trouble trying to get it back I can't believe I didn't think about permissions.

Worked perfectly for me. Although this is the second time that Root Explorer refuses to work on my system, pre-Admiral Beast and post, it would always force close.

But I downloaded ES File Manager and it worked great, plus I think it is a really cool little app. Lots of features. Made sure to change my permissions back after the paste.

Once again, thank you!

Ok I know how to do everything except the permissions. I dont get which ones to check when you say "rw-r-r"

Edit: I checked the permissions and they are rw-r-r, but the live wallpapers option still won't show up

Edit: Nevermind I just forgot the odex files haha
