Root how to change the boot image LG logo???

na it's do-able, just need to be super careful because it is pretty risky to type the wrong cmd lol those images are not in the actual rom but built into the device, so the ONLY way to do it is with adb push, basically same as pushing an apk lol

haha nah shouldn't brick unles you flash the wrong thing to the wrong place lol as long as you are using proper image file (which are NOT png's or jpeg's) and send it to proper place should be good!!

o and hey i wanted to ask you about that mod, i didn't fully read the guide provided on the op but is it possible to get the whole mod? ill give it a shot and we can share creds since you did most the work lol

ps on my way there now bro haha

its something with numbers lol ***656 or something like that.. you can view them in astro if you keep pressing the 'up folder' button, can explore the actual files built into the device but be carefull!!!! dont try anything stupid

actualy im not sure now, i just took a glance and found some .rle files..? for boot anim
 
I figured someone would have changed it by now if it was possible. I like the LG logo regardless so Ill stay out of it. :D
 
Oops didn't read your whole post... the .rle files are the LG Power On Logos. That is the reason why are there are 2 sets an the longer set is lower on the list versus the first set because the first power on logo is basic versus the second logos animation We can definitely change these
