Help How to delete calendars?

lotus49

Android Expert
I have no fewer than 10 calendars on my S4 (a legacy of months of struggling to find a desktop syncing solution). I don't and never will use most of them but I don't know how to delete them.

Can anyone give me a pointer please?

Thanks for your reply. That wasn't quite what I was after as doing that deletes all calendars. I searched quite extensively and I couldn't find a way to delete just one calendar so I deleted the lot and re-synced and reconfigured my calendar app.

Lotus,
Looking for the same answer, but finally found it . . . from the Calendar page, click Menu, then at the bottom of the next screen, select Display . . . then on the next page, remove the "checks" from the calendar you don't want to see . . .

I know you have already found a solution, but if we were looking for this info, maybe it will help someone else.
Cheers

Doing this just removes them from the view though. What I was looking for was a way to delete them completely.
