Help How to disable the charging light?

I don't like the incredibly bright red/green LED at night, is there an app to disable this?

I used electric tape. with my case i don't even notice it.

How about a black Sharpie marker? Then you have the option of easily "re-enabling" it again.

Its a reasonable question. The charging light on my Optimus Slider is like a laser sight when I'm working with it while its charging. I could certainly do without the annoyance.

My Sharpie suggestion has actually worked quite well for me on various items, especially with really bright blue LEDs. On those I used a silver sharpie and put a "dot" right in the center of the LED. It is hardly noticeable, because some of the light shines through it, but the LED is far less bright.
