Root How to flash a theme.

How would one remove a theme, if after flashing the theme... they realize they liked the original template better?

always wipe cache and dalvik cache before flashing a theme.

I'm not sure if this was for me... but I understand that. Wanted to know how to remove the theme... if I don't like it [and want to return to the way it was before]. Unless you are saying cache/dalvick will erase it.

Unfortunately, the only way to remove a theme is to restore the previous nand backup which you should always do before flashing a theme or rom. Or reflash a rom.

Yep, those are the two *most common* ways. Typically, just reflashing the ROM without wiping data is the quicker option. The problem with doing that is that it will undo all flashed mods. So, for example, if you flash a ROM, then a kernel, then a theme, if you flash the ROM again to undo the theme, you won't lose any data, but you'll have to flash your kernel again. Not a huge deal, but be aware that it will happen. Of course, a nand backup works too, but you'll lose anything done after it, which is why it's important to make one before making any changes. *Some* theme developers out there provide flashable zips to undo the theme only (generally just framework files, so it can easily undo other mods, too), but this is not common because:

a) A "rollback" flashable zip would need to be made for every ROM, as default theming is different for all of them.
b) As themes, mods, etc. are pretty much all done in the same few framework files, you'd probably be undoing a lot of other mods aside from the theme. Some incompatibilities could even cause your phone to not boot.

Using Azrael x 4.0 and theme is one he listed in his OP.
So, I can just reflash rom and wipe cache and dalvik cache (for restoring "stock" theme)?

Yes, that should work fine. Just make a nandroid backup, first, and remember that all other flashed mods will be undone, and you must reflash them.
