Can someone explain it a little better? Ive been reading mixed reviews..some people get stuck in a "M" logo when they're trying to install it, while other are having low temp and running really smooth...pls help.

FYI, I am running NexBeast V1.0 with the stock kernel...

i know it might be a dumb question but i am kind of a noob at this :o

easiest way is to go into rom manager. Make sure advanced mode is on. Then download rom. Cyanogenmod then p3kernels. Pick one and it will install. Dont worry p3 kernels work for any rom not just cyanogenmod

So just to be clear ... download a p3 kernel from rom manager and it should b compatible wih any rom.. correct?

I just downloaded the 1.2GHz P3Droid kernel for my phone and I'm also running NexBeast. Worked like a charm. Here's what I did (this is all based upon using ClockWork Recovery):

--Download the P3Droid kernel of your choice
P3Droid Kernels

--Save the file to the root of your SD card

--Reboot into recovery

--While in recovery mode, choose the 5th option (install zip from sdcard)

--Next choose the 2nd option (choose zip from sdcard)

--Navigate through the list until you see the file for the kernel you chose

--Apply the zip and reboot when completed.

I'd suggest making a backup before doing any of this if you don't have a recent one made. But this method worked great for me. I had issues getting stuck on the M while booting when I attempted to install Belkit kernels above 1Ghz, but didn't come across any issues when dealing with the P3Droid kernel.

Good luck!

or you could just download it, go into rom manager, and install from sd card.

worked like a charm for me. you guys are overthinking things =p
