Root how to know the proper rooting method for my sIII

Sorry if this is not the right place for rooting question i feel obliged to put the question anyway
i Have a samsung galaxy s3 and after looking here and there, I'v found out that there's different s3 edition (lte, international, etc) therefore different rooting methods for each edition, the problem is that i dont know what edition i have, so can u tell me how to know which edition i have, and what worse can happen if i choose the wrong method for my edition

What carrier are you on and/or where did you purchase the phone? That should be enough to determine which variant you have.

What carrier are you with?
 
Hi there d_ce!

At the moment we don't have an All Things Root forum for your carrier for the S3. I'm wondering if you have the international version of the phone... can you tell us what your model number is? You can find it in the phones Settings under About Phone.

If you have the International version, we can get this thread moved over to the All Things Root section for the S3 International version.

We need to make sure you get the right information for rooting your phone. If you install the wrong thing you could potentially brick your phone, which turns it into a paperweight. :(
