Root How to Pull .APK Data from phone manually?

Does anyone know how to pull the apk data from the root directory itsself through adb? Im actually doing this on my Kindle fire but there would never be an answer there? but android is android....... Any help appreciated

Reason being that i cannot for some reason select the option to backup both the apk data and the apk itself

Reason being that i cannot for some reason select the option to backup both the apk data and the apk itself

not sure how the fire is configured but on my evo 3d (senseless rom) the data apk for the apps are found in the system partition/data/app.

thanks for the reply, but i went digging around in a nandroid backup and i somehow found the data folder which happened to be all of my app data!!!! but thanks anyway

i absolutley love it. it is literaly the perfect thing for my. a great reader for school, and the case i have on it makes it really easy to play games during class =-]
but yeah i would highly reccommend it
