So today I figured out how to record a call with the desire hd. All you have to do is download the Quick record widget from the htc hub and place it on one of your home screens, and when you are in a call just hit the quick record widget and it will record your call.
I know there's a two way recording app floating round on XDA (it come bundled with my kernel), if that helps?

Will have to have a look on XDA... Don't really need to record conversations, but it is worth having (just in case)!![]()
One of the LeeDroid kernels offers it.
landovr - does it record both sides of a call? I've seen a couple of apps on the market, but they say that either they don't record both sides or that, with the DHD, they can record both sides, but that it can only record the other person if they are put on loadspeaker!
Yes it records both sides. I wasn't on loudspeaker or anything, just a normal call.
I am running 2.3.3
Hi All,
I can't find the "Quick record" widget on the HTC HUB. Any ideas?
Thanks in anticipation.
I've found the quick record app in HTC Hub but can't place it on my homescreen with GOLauncher...
Here is the perfect Call Recorder app, records both ways very very clearly.

But it does require root
It has worked on every ROM I have used so far (LeeDroid, MIUI, HoneyUnity)
Keep in mind though that if you want to use said app with root the KERNEL you use must have 2-way call recording support.
Didn't know that, thanks.
It has worked with the 3 ROMs I listed above, as well as Android Revolution HD, so it will work for the majority
I had to block the app via Super User.
I found I'd get the super user toasts at random times when I wasn't on the phone. I'm not sure why the call recorder would need root access when I'm playing Angry Birds??
It's handy, but when you're not using it, it's a pain in the proverbials.
Most do your right...so many people wish they wouldn't as it seems to abuse the battery via the dialer sensor.
