how to remove calendar

in the calendars menu i have 3 calendars on my desire, my calendar, pc sync calendar and a calendar i set up called annie calendar. i know i can deselect the calendars i don't want to use but how can i remove the calendars from the phone completely?

I think that, similar to the additional contact groups, this is something that's added by HTC that can't be removed.

Added by google isn't it? The only way to remove them is to remove them from your google account. Its like that, and I think it should be like that too.

No, these are not listed in the Google Calendar on the web. That's why I think it's the same deal as with the groups, because they're not listed in Google Contacts, either. And, I haven't seen these on the (stock) Samsung Galaxy, only on the (Sense'd-up) HTC Desire.

ok then, how do i remove them from my google account?
