How to remove physical logo?

My desire was a UK Orange branded one. I've rooted it and installed custom firmware so I no longer get the Orange start up logo or their uninstallable bloatware apps.

The only thing left is the Orange logo printed on the rear battery cover. Does anyone have anyway to remove the logo with out causing too much damage?

It would be nice to have a completely de-branded phone. :)
 
Sugar cubes ive heard too. Never tried but in theory should work like an eraser

I've used sugar cubes on older phones, normally those with more "plasticy/glossy" covers. Not sure if they will work on the matt finish of the back of a Desire.
 
Geez dude... Want it gone that bad? Lol. I just laid some carbon fiber vinyl on the back of mine... Looks awesome! If all else fails, do something like that. Think all nice phones such as ours should be in a good protective case though. Good luck.
 
Sugar cubes are supposed to work as basically a mild sandpaper, but be wary of chemicals. Test them on a small bit first - I'm not sure what the back cover is made of but it may not get along with certain things!
 
Just buy a new back cover!!! No messing about, plus it'll look a damn sight better than one where you've scratched a tiny 1cm Orange square off of it.
