Help How to remove screen lock

Toz

Lurker
I've had a Droid X for a week now and I initially set it up for my work email (Exchange 2007) via the corporate sync application using ActiveSync. The problem is that my company enforces security restrictions that I don't want so I downloaded Touchdown so I can connect using OWA (outlook Web Access) instead. This way i can still get my email from work and they can't force security or wipe my phone.

So i have 2 questions...

Now that the restrictions have ben set, I can't seem to remove them even though I've deleted the email account. How do I remove without wiping my phone?

If I do wipe my phone, will I have to pay for software that I've already purchased through the market?

Does your phone have 2.2 on it?
If not, you can delete your lock screen BEFORE adding 2.2 and it won't be there after. Unless I am mistaken you can't change it(without an app) after 2.2 is on it.
