Root How to Restore ROM Backup

MrCritter

Lurker
I've had my Droid X rooted for several months. I am currently running 2.2.1.

Over the weekend I played around with installing a custom ROM, Liberty 1.0. I love it, but some of my go-to features aren't working anymore (like long press on the search button to bring up voice search).

I would like to go back to my original, factory ROM. Can I simply go to "Factory reset data" under the Privacy menu of Settings?

If not, then I guess I would need to restore using a backup from clockworkmod, though I don't know how to do this. On my phone, I have the directory clockworkmod>backup>2011-01-20.02.11 with five files:
.android_secure.img
cache.img
data.img
nandroid.md5
system.img

Can someone tell me the easiest way to get back to my original, factory ROM?

Thanks!

You can simply select the option to restore your rom from rom manager. It's that easy
